Vulvar vestibulitis is a manifestation of neuroimmune disease. Most importantly, it is an indicator of comorbid conditions, which may include symptoms such as headache, dizziness, insomnia, lower abdominal pain, shoulder and neck pain, lower back pain, palpitations, chest tightness, gastroesophageal reflux, bloating, frequent urination, urinary incontinence, pain during intercourse, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, dry eyes, and dry mouth, among several or many of these symptoms.
